Host your event at Moffat Town Hall:
What we do
Moffat Town Hall sits in the heart of the community and operates with many different functions. Although the hall is currently owned by Dumfries and Galloway Council, the running of the hall is undertaken by Moffat Town Hall Redevelopment Trust on a 21 year lease.
The Town Hall is in a prominent position in the centre of the High Street and is a natural ‘central point’ for the town. The Town Hall facilitates a number of varied events and functions within the town. Trust members are involved in operating important clubs and services for the community. The building is also available for booking weddings, parties and business events.
Moffat Town itself has many local and historical attractions such as the Moffat Ram, the Beef Tub, St Marys Loch, Grey Mare’s Tail and Hartfell and many others.

Moffat Town Hall is located on Moffat High Street. Moffat Garden Centre and the Annandale Arms Hotel and Restaurant neighbour the hall.
The elegant Georgian fronted building, now the Town Hall, was built in 1827 by the Moffat Bath Company as Moffat Bath Halls. When originally completed the Baths Halls comprised reading rooms, an assembly hall and bathing suites.
