Our local community
In May 2016, the Trust opened a Community Shop and from day one, this has been one of the most successful aspects of all services within the Town Hall. It has been hugely supported by the local community and visitors alike.
Without this support, both by donations and purchases, this simply would not be possible.
There is a small team of volunteers who spend endless hours sorting donations, creating stock displays, dedicating time to presentation of clothing and ensuring a happy and welcoming atmosphere when the shop is open.
Since the shop commenced, it has supported many local community groups by way of funding.

Moffat Town Hall is located on Moffat High Street. Moffat Garden Centre and the Annandale Arms Hotel and Restaurant neighbour the hall.
The elegant Georgian fronted building, now the Town Hall, was built in 1827 by the Moffat Bath Company as Moffat Bath Halls. When originally completed the Baths Halls comprised reading rooms, an assembly hall and bathing suites.
